- If AT had been paying attention to what we were saying last year, they
- wouldn't have had the sales problems. Many of us were suggesting that
- they make some minor updates on the 1200 before they tooled up to make
- them. There are a number of things that would have been easy for them to
- add before they tooled up. Things like a 68030, SCSI, keyboard disable
- jumper w/external keyboard port, etc. Simple things like this wouldn't
- have been that difficult to add then and would make a big difference in
- sales in the long run. Also they wouldn't have had to modify the case so
- existing A1200 users would have been paying good money for the upgraded
- motherboard.
-
- Hopefully the people at AT on here will start listening to us and relay
- it upstream. If they don't, their products will be more miss than hit,
- their sales will be low and the Amiga will die.
